William Rousseau, DMD
Meet Dr. Rousseau
Dr. Rousseau was born and raised in Atlanta. After graduating from The Westminster Schools, he was enrolled in the Honors Program at The University of Georgia. From there he attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Having grown up in a dental family, Dr Rousseau decided that he wanted to see the world before returning to Atlanta to practice dentistry with his father and brother. This led to his commission in the US Navy.
As a Lieutenant stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina he decided that he wanted to pursue endodontics as a career. After three years on active duty and another three years in private practice in Atlanta, Dr Rousseau moved his family to Louisville, Kentucky to begin a residency in endodontics.
Upon completion of his residency in 2000 he returned home to Atlanta to begin his practice in endodontics.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, the International College of Dentists, Georgia Association of Endodontists (past president), and the Southern Endodontic Study Group (past president). Dr Rousseau is board certified by the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Rousseau served as District III Director on the American Association of Endodontists Board of Directors from 2017-2020. He was President of the Hinman Dental Society from 2021-2022.
